Dr Darren Bywater, principal clinician at the Darren Bywater Dental Implant Centre, has many years of experience and has successfully placed many hundreds of implants, including a broad range of simple and advanced complex cases. Dr Bywater has far exceeded the requirements set out by the General Dental Council in implant training.

In addition to his master’s degree, he has attained the gold standard Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Advanced level and the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has, for three separate cohorts running, been employed by the College as Implant Tutor and Mentor. He has also been successful in attaining examiner positions for both the Implant and Restorative diploma for the College and also acts as Implant Practice Inspector.
